Terms of sale

The rules that govern the use of the site and your orders, written to be read. A question? Write to us.

Seller

The products sold on the website are supplied by Altystick, the trade name of Sasha Belliard, a sole proprietorship registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0768.529.515, VAT BE0768529515, Avenue Louise 167, 1050 Brussels, Belgium. Phone: +32 490 46 85 19. Email: contact@altystick.be.

These terms apply to every order placed on the website, by private customers (consumers) and by businesses alike. Where a rule applies only to one or the other, this is stated.

Order and price

The order is concluded when you confirm it and the payment is accepted; we then send you a confirmation by email. Prices are in euros; for consumers, they include Belgian VAT. Shipping costs and the announced lead time are shown before you confirm.

Payment

Unless otherwise stipulated, all orders and services are payable in full when confirmed or on receipt of the invoice.

Online payment goes through a secure provider (Stripe); its bank fees are borne by us. If you cancel an order for personalised products before production starts (see “Right of withdrawal”), these fees are not refunded.

Delivery times

The production and delivery time is shown on the website and in the order confirmation. It depends on the availability of materials, the files supplied and the volume of orders in progress; if there is a delay, we let you know as soon as possible.

Unless another period has been agreed, we deliver no later than 30 days after the order is concluded. If we fail to deliver within that period, the consumer may ask us to deliver within a reasonable additional period; if delivery still does not take place, the consumer may terminate the contract and all amounts paid are refunded without delay (article VI.43 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law).

The consumer bears the risk of loss of or damage to the products from the moment the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of them. For a business customer, the risk passes when the products are handed over to the carrier. For collection from the locker or the workshop, the risk passes on collection.

Right of withdrawal

Personalised products. Stickers and sheets made from your designs are made to order. Under article VI.53, 3° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. No refund or cancellation can therefore be required once your files have been sent or the proof approved. If you ask us to cancel before any work has started, we may refund you as a goodwill gesture, less bank transaction fees only.

Non-personalised products. For ready-made stickers sold in our shop, the consumer has 14 days from receipt to withdraw, without giving any reason. Simply inform us before the end of that period with a clear statement, for example by email to contact@altystick.be, or with the form below. Then send the products back within 14 days, in their original condition; return costs are at your expense. We refund you within 14 days of your withdrawal, standard delivery costs included, using the same means of payment; we may wait until we have received the products or proof of their dispatch. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the products.

Guarantee and complaints

All our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity: the consumer is protected against any lack of conformity that exists at delivery and becomes apparent within two years (articles 1649bis to 1649octies of the Belgian Civil Code). We then repair or replace the product free of charge or, if that is not possible, refund you.

Please report a defect or an order error as soon as possible, and no later than two months after discovering it, to contact@altystick.be, with photos and a description. We reply within 7 working days. A business customer must report visible defects within 7 working days of receipt.

The following are not defects: errors in the files supplied or in the proof you approved (spelling, resolution, colours), nor slight colour differences between the screen and the print.

Intellectual property

The customer undertakes to send only files, images, logos, texts or any other visual content for which they hold the exploitation rights, or for which they have formal authorisation to reproduce them for commercial purposes.

Altystick accepts no liability for any unauthorised use of elements protected by copyright, image rights or any other applicable legislation.

Late payment

For sales to businesses, late payments are governed by the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions. Late payment interest is due automatically and without formal notice, at the ECB reference rate plus 8 percentage points.

A flat-rate compensation of EUR 40 is also due to cover recovery costs.

Retention of title

In accordance with article X.209 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the goods delivered remain the property of Altystick until the customer has paid the price in full.

Disputes and applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. For any complaint, please write to us first at contact@altystick.be: we always look for an amicable solution.

If we cannot reach an agreement, the consumer may contact the Consumer Ombudsman Service free of charge (www.consumerombudsman.be) or submit a request on the BelMed platform of the FPS Economy (economie.fgov.be).

For a dispute with a consumer, the competent court is the one designated by law; the consumer may in particular bring the case before the court of their place of residence. Between businesses, the courts of the judicial district of Brussels have exclusive jurisdiction.
